True, but not always. My husband had a terrible back injury and could not afford to get it treated at the time. He took so many Advil due to the pain that he pretty much killed his pancreas and ended up with type 2 because of it. He did not know that could happen.

So happy to have gotten the fiery little bastard and not the socialist!

For the first time ever I am wishing someone would put a couple masks on. Just seeing that smug face makes my blood boil.

THIS. If you are not ready to take a risk, don't get pregnant. Anything can happen, you could end up doing everything right both during pregnancy and raising your child, but then end up, for instance, the child getting sick and dying. Or having Down's. Or growing up to become a murderer. You can't just say to yourself, "I am ready to become a parent but only if everything goes perfectly". Life isn't like that. I became pregnant at age 38 for the first time and was told I needed to check for Down's due to advanced maternal age. I responded, "no, I already love this child." Would not have affected my decision so didn't do the test. I understand that having a Down's child is MUCH more difficult than having a "normal" one, but so be it. Just my opinion.

Great. My husband is a diabetic who puts off going to the doctor if he thinks his loved ones need something. That [email protected] [email protected] (Biden, not the husband!)
