I'm looking at legitimate numbers and drawing from that pool to generate reasonable assumptions. As far as the US goes, you will notice that flu diagnosis from the end of October until March was 2x-5x last year's amount (which was the highest on record).
As far as Italy goes, they always have a ton of people who die from the flu every year. Their population is very old with 25% being 65 or older. If our data is anything to go by then they are classifying basically all of their regular flu deaths as Coronavirus related this year as well.
Italy had their peak on Mar 27th, each part of the world is at a different stage. A peak in cases jus means a peak in testing. We know cases go up linearly with testing.
A lot of factors make it a plausible scenario, at least one to put more time into considering.
I thought I saw one back on the old site. Something about don't let Russia interfere with our elections and then added voter ID and other talking points to each different meme.
Unfortunately it was way ahead of its time but we could bring it back somehow.
Look at all the people who think they had it already! I hear a ton of stories on here about mysterious flus people had since November. The truth could be that it has already eaten through most of the world's population centers and we are just catching the very tail end of it with testing.
They lie by omission.
I'm in the process of inventing a new oil filter alternative for vehicles and it costs a lot of money. I need to convince people that they need my product. I am trying to target people who don't fully understand the industry. I keep hearing people say that replacing your oil filter regularly is all you need. I need people to buy my product so I do a study to prove them wrong. I change the filters on lots of cars and prove that changing the filter isn't enough to maintain proper vehicle health. I can now say that changing your oil filter regularly doesn't help, you need my product.
Nothing I've said is false, I've just left out the part where you're supposed to also change the oil when you change the filter. But I can write articles all day saying I've proven that just changing your oil filter doesn't work and I expect my product to be more helpful.
That example doesn't exactly work in practice since the majority of people are at least knowledgeable enough to know that you change the oil when you change the filter. When you take that and apply it to a concept that even less people have even a basic understanding of, like medicine for instance; it leaves wide open the door for people to push their agendas. Then add on top of that, that this involves death and you've got a perfect storm.
This is how I tried to explain it to my buddy who is always too busy working to keep up with this shit but calls me from time to time to ask about stuff he's heard. Hope it can help someone.
Now that we know anywhere from 50x to 80x more people have been infected than we thought we need a full and immediate re-opening.
Mortality rate could actually be near zero and asymptomatic cases could be over 90%.
This thing looks to be incredibly infectious but only dangerous for people 65+ with one or more pre-existing conditions and with proper treatment (Trump pills) the risk is severely reduced.
I'm not a scientist or anything it's just my analysis from reading all the latest articles and news.
Went to the small family-owned hardware store today to get some gloves and lube to work on my truck. It's closed.
Could have drove to Walmart and got some but I'd rather tear my hands to pieces than buy anything there that I could buy at a locally owned store.
Small business owners are one of the most if not the most important thing in our country. How is someone's ability to put food on the table not essential?
Pipe dreams from people who realize Biden has no chance.
Michelle Obama would never accept a VP job, and everyone knows it.
They just need to keep their base fired up until November and Joe is a bucket of cold water.
That website is hot garbage. They want us to stay in lockdown until there are less than 1 infection per 1 million people and they keep moving the goalposts.
Anyone trying to use that site as an informational source at this point has no credibility to me.
It's easy to think like this when you don't have to work!
Government is paying you disability so you sit in your house and bark orders. If your income was 0 because of this and you were about to lose your home you'd sing a different tune.
Everything is relative.
I'm not at a convenient location to access the chart I was viewing to come up with those figures but the CDC put out their final flu season figures on Monday and I will try to get that link to you either soon or when I get back to my desktop.
