Finally got to go fishing on a pier today in san diego. They kicked us all off at 8:30 "because covid," like we're more likely to catch it nightfishing. I've fucking had it and so has everybody else. Nobody was wearing masks or distancing and everybody was grumbling and dragging ass leaving. The lifeguard had to drive the truck to the end of the pier and megaphone at us. I think we've gotten to the breaking point. If people aren't fed up enough to vote different yet, it'll be time to leave.

THIS. I live in a cali border town and can't send my kids to the public school. None of the kids speak english, and 30% are recorded as "homeless" to get around residency requirements, and bussed across the border every morning. Property taxes just keep going up though!
