I went from minimum wage to some real good fucking money as the boss in 3 years time because I was motivated to move up. I applied myself.
Those kids (who are probably my age now) thought do-nothing degrees will get them a set job off the bat without experience and merit. Instead they ended up in debt and STILL had to work a minimum wage job after college.
They should have researched mike I did. Most jobs wants college degrees AND years of work experience. It can be a scam, but honestly there so many jobs that allow you to work your way up as well and pay tremendous money. If I didn’t get laid off, I’m sure I could have made $150k like my former boss after another two years.
