While this may provide some benefit initially, at the end of the day to really excel in this country it comes down to the individual. In the field that I work, knowledge is the almost the only thing that matters. You can be hired into a role based on your race but once you are there, if you don’t know what you are doing it becomes evident extremely fast. Those people will be fired or will never be promoted. If you make a decision that costs your company $20m dollars or a lawsuit there is nothing that will prevent a company from firing you. The Big4 accounting firms are having a really hard time with diversity. Most hire a fairly diverse group of people but what they are seeing is that most that get promoted to partner are white and Asian people. This is largely a product of attrition. They may make a ton of diversity hires initially but when it comes down to true merit, most diversity hires don’t make it.

Agree 100%. I think the 800 lbs gorilla in the room is the fact that our election system is in such shambles that a real forensic audit cannot be performed. If this is the case it needs to be shown for the whole world to see. We should be able to trace every single mail-in ballot to its signed envelope and be able to tie the signature on the envelope to a person. Has anyone anywhere attested that this can be done?
