To me I think economic stress will. I mean CA is getting worse. They are legalizing criminality. If moderates don't feel safe they will hold their nose and pull the lever for the GOP. I think thats how Trump won some rust belt states. I think that's how Trump won moderates. Trumpism will continue being more appealing over time if the AOCs get louder and louder. Or the divisions between moderates and progressives in the democratic party becomes clear. This isn't wishful thinking its pretty clear. Law and order us important to moderates of all stripes.
