This a pretty extreme interpretation of the amendment. It wouldn’t hold up in court and in the meantime make Trump look like the dictator the Left accuses him of being.

Absentee ballots are still being delivered. If they are post-marked by the 3rd they are valid but take a couple of days to go through the mail.

You get a reluctant upvote which is the greatest honor someone can bestow on a pun.

But voting doesn’t fall under the executive branch so there’s not policy to set.

Joepedo could be pronounced like torpedo and that’s what I am now calling my friend at work from now on.

DACA isn’t a law. It’s a policy. Executive orders are just memos to the employees of the executive branch like DHS providing details on how to do their jobs.

The executive branch doesn’t have authority over voting methods or whether you can make people wear face masks for that matter.

That’s not now executive orders work, they aren’t laws.

It includes any kind of trap that could potentially injure someone or their property (ironically enough). There was a case a few years ago where someone’s political sign was being run over frequently because they lived on a corner of two streets so they put a strip of nails below the sign. Woman came through, ran over the sign and punctured her tires. Homeowner was charged and convicted and also had to pay damages. It was just probation but legally he was liable.

Those would work. Can we make 50.8 million of them by Sept without massive government spending?

I prefer my tax money to go to something workable but that’s just me.

The ones against assault and murder but I understand the intent of your question. I think the legal details you are looking for are in the case Katko v. Briney from 1971.

Here’s the Wikipedia link to it but you can find it easily from other sources if you prefer.

I haven’t seen this site before about 30 minutes ago. I heard about it on 9GAG.

My username is the same if you want to see for yourself.

What makes you think I don’t support President Trump? I am merely pointing out that opening schools is literally impossible. That’s not a political opinion, that’s just reality.

Why am I not welcome? Did I say something offensive or untrue?

To read information and opinions and provide both to others.

Why should I be here?

Almost forgot. Gotta manufacture the classrooms themselves.

Or, we could just keep at least half the students home where they are safe and don’t cost billions.

Cool so maintaining six feet between desks is a basic precaution recommended by basically everyone.

In order to do that you have to reduce the number of students per class because the classrooms aren’t big enough.

More classes mean more teachers, do you would need about 3mil more of those.

Then you need somewhere to put the classes since the schools aren’t all at half capacity. We could get temp classrooms. We will need about 3mil of those.

They require about 1.6acres of level space for a normal size school so we need to find that.

We will need to double the capacity from the power grid so they can have lights and HVAC. Gotta put that order in.

Oh, and we have a month to do it.

More likely because their donuts are crap and they make more money off of their coffee brand than that one employee that didn’t serve a cop that one time.

They were confirmed as infected. Quarantining infectious people is pretty normal behavior.

Do you believe any precautions against COVID are needed? Like social distancing or increased hand washing?

You mean we plant these things and then we have unlimited melons? That sounds pretty awesome.
