I agreed with them that I’m glad Biden won the election. I expressed hope that we ramp up troops in all the Mid East countries. I named Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan. I told them Trump’s policies there turned me off to him. I said that we need to be at war with them until they accept American democracies and I know civilians die, but the more that die as collateral damage, the better our chances are of achieving our long term goals. I said over 1 million Iraqis died and that’s not enough and that I hope that under Biden we can get it to at least two million.
I then went on to say that I hope gas prices go up because only people that can afford high gas prices should be driving and we need to price out those with not a lot of income into the public transportation system so we can keep better tabs on them and make sure they aren’t going into more affluent neighborhoods.
They were looking at me weird but then I went on to Amazon. I said small business owners shouldn’t be allowed to operate and I am glad the lockdowns are in place because we can’t have small businesses competing with corporate conglomerates that provide $15 per hour jobs and thrive on corporate welfare. I said we need a perpetual working class free of upward mobility so that there is equality everywhere and those at the top can look after the rest of us because they have our best interests at heart.
This person kept telling me I’m being an asshole but I acted like I was really genuine. I told them I got rid of all my Trump “shit” (it’s in a box in the basement unopened and always has been) and that I am glad that someone with all this experience is in office now
