It's also welfare for old, affluent Leftists: public funding for biased news/propaganda and creaky ancient Brit comedies

It's working. Saw a rerun of the 1990s series "Wings" over Christmas and was struck how, well, white the cast was.

Which worked, as all the characters have quirks, exaggerated for comedy, which would probably expose them to Cancel Culture now if they gave those attributes to People Of Color...but they'd also be boycotted for being too White.

American Housewife The actress who played the Black Lesbian friend made "toxic environment" charges last November. ABC removed two producers, "retrained" two others, and the woman who created the series left. ie, it got "Rosanned" by ABC, regime changed. It's a shell of what it was ABC Signature, which produces the series, investigated Hughes' claims and says it made "positive changes" as a result. Creator Sarah Dunn is no longer actively involved with American Housewife (though she was credited as an executive producer and co-writer of the Nov. 5 episode), and line producer Mark J. Greenberg departed. Showrunners Kenny Schwartz and Rick Wiener also took sensitivity training. So a white woman and a Jewish guy were removed, two other Jewish guys sent for re-education, and the show sucks. Jewish men writing comedies, how 1950s!
