Their pageviews per visitor is down, their time spent on site is down, bounce rate is up, they're dropping in website rankings...very, very substantially.

In 2018 they reached the 3rd spot in worldwide website rankings, beating out Facebook, only losing out to Google and Youtube.

They went from #3 two years ago, to #20 now.

While that might not seem substantial, anyone that is familiar with SEO, digital marketing, et al can confirm that you the closer you get to the top, the further the gap in traffic difference widens. The difference between #3 and #2 for example is astronomical.

reddit does a great job of hiding their traffic information but you can pull different stats form different areas of the web.

As of February 2020, they had 1.305 billion unique visitors that month

Alexa tells us that reddit has 4.48 page views per visitor which means they had roughly 5.85 billion page views per month, and roughly 70 billion per year assuming a leveled view-count. So let's even give it a range of 60-80 billion for safe measure.

This report shows in 2018 reddit received a total of 168 billion pageviews. 14 billion per month. This goes on to show that in 2015, they had some 82 billion pageviews.

This means perhaps half of their pageviews have been lost over the course of 2 years. Reddit is dying.
