They all want to be Bezos whose scam subscription service was not only a undeserved hit, but was the first of it's kind with no competition.

I seriously think that if it wasn't for that plus people not cancelling those initial subscriptions (turning into free money) that allowed them to dominate the market so hard anyway.

Instead of wondering if and when they will ban you just forget they existed. You are not going to miss anything, anything "worthwhile" will be reposted anyway.

Let their machine rot.

Hey man to be fair people can be pretty stupid about it. I mean I get it but it doesn't mean you have to constantly roll around in the mud. It doesn't have that "desensitizing affect" people believe that it has.

It's hard when so many people have been programed to not feel responsible for anything their whimsy emotional turmoil buys them.

Enlisted includes wordage about obeying those appointed over you. Officers swear only to the constitution.

But yeah, just another thing that used to mean something.

Spez: Found a good summation:

Both officers and enlisted service members swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States, but in the Oath of Enlistment, service members swear they will “obey the orders of the president of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over [them], according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice.”

Which leads to lazy programming that eats the extra overhead. We will be back to that sooner rather than later.

Just as an aside regarding the Berlin wall. A lot of people misunderstand what that wall was. It was not a walled border separating east and west Germany. Berlin itself was deep in east Germany but the US and allies controlled the "free" sectors. The berlin wall ENCIRCLED the allied portions of berlin with the hope of strangling and isolating them.

Spez: sorry if the format is off, on mobile.

Spez spez: fun fact, the commies called it "The anti-facist rampart."

Just don't forget, he's selling your ass out as much as he can in the hopes he will be rewarded with "his turn".

And they might give it to him, just to return things to "normal". (both sides controlled by the aristocracy.)

Sure. I'm sure the caliber of people remaining after, when they can not defend themselves until an officer is already injured or dead, will be top notch folks.

You need to rethink "independents" in this climate. Right now a good chunk of independent = someone who wants to deny as much information as possible so that they have a harder time "predicting and correcting" the vote.

Many of us also refuse to mail in our vote.
