Twitter spends too much time enforcing ideologies rather than actually developing refining a micro-blogging app. The moment people are able to export their data away from Twitter to a more complete platform they're screwed.

Not sure if DeWine thinks this is all gonna get memory-holed, or if he’s actually oblivious to the fact we’re gonna primary his ass.

We went from swing state to blood red the year Trump showed up, that’s not a coincidence.

Even if you don’t have a truck, better have at least a friend or two that does. Or at least a large van.

Am also in software engineering. One of the biggest skills is being able to communicate with non-tech savy people what you are doing/can do and why

“Ohio is a swing state”

laughs in Ohioan

This would be easier to chalk up as "conspiracy" except Biden was getting absolutely trashed in Michigan, Penn, and Wisconsin by laughable margins on election night.

I'm still suspicious just because Trump won Ohio and Florida by god-tier margins yet somehow Wis/Mich/Penn magically don't follow this trend? How do you win Ohio by eight percent and not carry the other rust belts by at least 2-4%?

I’m in OH and this makes no sense. If I leave somewhere at 10pm and am just driving like on a highway, by myself, with no one else in the car, am I still getting pulled over? For what? Daring to be outside on my own past 10pm?

These people think flyover country is built on dirt roads and doesn't have cell reception in most parts. This isn't what I think they think, this is what they've said themselves.

The closer this gets to the top the more impressive the growth is. It’s gotta be getting exponentially harder to climb each rank.

Huh? t would always be positive in that case. Trump would earn every vote from a straight R ticket plus any extra votes he got from a non straight R ticket. The slope would always be positive. The Y axis is supposed to be the % of non straight ballots Trump earned votes on but not other Reps minus the % of non straight ballots other Reps earned votes but not Trump. The only thing T - R could indicate in the variables you stated would be how much Trump over-performed the straight ticket, but not if he underperformed. R must be less than or equal to T. You’d need to compare Trump’s % vote against other Reps % vote down ballot, which is what Shiva’s Y axis does.

The judge is asking irrelevant questions.

"Do you know it was 20 feet where did you hear that?"

Bitch, were the observers close enough to do their job?

This is more important than the post sticked with >10k votes imo. There’s nothing to guess at here. At around 20% Republican, precincts magically stop turning in votes for Trump at a linear rate. Wtf.

If your code looks like what it does on the right there then no wonder you have so many bugs

“It’s just a default date”

a) I don’t have too much experience with databases outside of my own pet projects, but I’ve literally never heard of just using 1/1/1900 in a dataset where ya kinda need to know if the person is old enough to vote or not

b) If it is defaulting to 1/1/1900, why the fuck do they get to vote without us even knowing when they were born? How do you exist in the US without the govt at least knowing that?

I’m sure any software engineer would love to see what is causing these glitches. Switched variables? A faulty machine? Shitty QA? Or was it just their morality that was glitched?

Having this go to SCOTUS and ACB being the decisive vote would be fucking cathartic after putting up with this for four years.

Lmao that gigantic fucking line down. Just like Wisconsin. NYC would have already burned if this was the other way.

The leads in Wisconsin/Michigan/Pennsylvania at 3am Wednesday morning were monsterous and then in the middle of the night/early morning ballots showed up by the tens of thousands.
