Hi guys! With everything ramping up towards the election at the end of the year, I figured it was high time I picked a candidate to support. As a person who is definitely left leaning, my immediate point of call was the Democratic Party - I looked through all of the candidates and their policies, perused news articles and came to the conclusion that Bernie Sanders was my favourite candidate who I would live to see as president. But as a voter, I believe it is my duty to give every side and viewpoint a chance - so I have come here to say what you guys have to say!

I’ve always been more sympathetic to Trump’s cause than most of my friends/associates. I think the state of the media currently is absolutely abhorrent and their incessant smear campaign/constant negative press is cheap and seems to seek to push an agenda. I have noticed that Trump and Bernie are quite similar in their treatment:

Both are attacked by the media.

Both come from outside of the party establishment.

Both energise their base in a way not many others are doing.

Both spread a populist message not typical of other candidates.

So yeah. I just would like to hear what you guys have to say about Trump! Do you think I should vote for him? Why?
