Laws need to be changed to force self defense to be considered in probable cause hearings. The state needs to demonstrate more than merely somebody was shot by the defendant. These prosecutions are punitive even when ultimately someone is found innocent. The emotional, financial, and other type burdens take their toll, and the defendant becomes a victims that can rarely recover those damages.

They did exactly what I suggested earlier. They offered to add the counties clerks (or who ever was needed) to the complaint. It was originally reversed when the judge said they were separate from the defendants. However, it sounds like the judge didn't require that after all.
