YEP. I remember house calls lol. Had one when I got the measles (despite being vaccinated).

back when if you went to the ER it was really serious, and if you got admitted to a hospital it was beyond serious.

I also remember 12 kids in my first grade class being hospitalized for flu and 2 dying in 1970. And we visited flu patients in the hospital. With no masks, but we sat across the room...

And we delivered homework to sick kids at home, and sat across the room to visit.

Fuck coffee. Hubby is bringing home 12 BANG energy drinks. 357mg of caffeine each. Or more in some. based energy drink company. I am surviving on diet soda until he gets home.

Gonna be a long long week or so, since I have other shit to do in between.

Might I suggest going through the table of contents and starting with the thing that most interests you, and highlighting relevant shit with a personal color code?

I have yellow for shit that is not part of the original Constitution as the job of government, pink for shit supporting globalism/green new deal, and blue for actual useful shit as my defaults. Naturally most legislation produced by the corporations and lobbyists who write these bills turns up yellow all the way.

We have been in phoenix every Saturday for a while now, but never get more than a few thousand. But the number grows every weekend in Phx. and also in Tucson where I live.

Hey, there yet may be concrete wins. However without the knowledge we have now, we would be in far deeper shit down the road. We got into this shit in the first place because people have been ignoring the creep of communism for as long as I have been alive. I've been called a tin foil hatter for over 30 years trying to explain to people how bad shit was while fighting a losing battle against it.

Now, they are getting it. better late than never.

Ostensibly it is to further opportunities for women. In reality, who knows what the hell they do with it. 99% of the money that gets pissed out in USAID and other programs doesn't benefit anyone other than those in power.

Well, I consider it winning that we now know just how deep the shit is that we are in. And that more people are finally fucking waking up to the fact we have been in a war for a damned long time and we are really late to the party.

I confidently expect 0 help from courts or government at this point, since they are all infiltrated by leftism. We need to ready ourselves to clean house.

Well, maybe as a janitor. Or a cafeteria worker. Or in the gift shop or the parking garage dude? It's possible.

Good for your son! My boys are grown now. One's Army and who knows where in the world (he never tells me) the other is local and works in transit. Youngest and best qualified supervisor they have. Sadly he won't go farther up in the organization because he refuses to be a good bureaucrat lol. As stubborn at 30 as he was at 15. Damn good kid though.

YEP. We need 80 million people on the streets. Everywhere, not just DC. This is the one day we need to be seen, flags and all of course. And I will be seen, along with other locals.

Some of us have been out on the streets daily or nearly so since November 4th. At our state capitols as well.

Serioussurfaholic 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yep. people seem to highly underestimate the deep shit we are in. We are already in a war, and have been for some time. Decades in fact. The open war was declared November 3rd.

At this point, conflict is inevitable if we want to save what is left of the Republic, but war is a terrible thing and Trump knows it.

I would get there a little earlier actually. if enough people are going, you want to roll in with dawn's early light on the 6th if not sooner to get a good spot.

And I am sure you will behave responsibly, and follow all relevant laws ;-).

^^THIS.

One of the things they are trying to do with tech dependence is to erase memory. And moving us to an entirely digital world is a big part of this.

Constitution and Declaration.

The federalist papers (and all the other founding documents at LOC)

https://guides.loc.gov/federalist-papers/full-text

Everything John Locke ever wrote, but specifically Two treatises of Government : https://www.thefederalistpapers.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Two-Treatises-of-Government-by-John-Locke.pdf

Then go back to LOC and search John Locke and read how others interpreted him.

Adam Smith's Wealth of nations: http://www.bibliomania.com/2/1/65/112/frameset.html

De Tocqueville: https://archive.org/details/democracyinameri00tocq_7

George Washington's War by Robert leckie.

Rise to Rebellion, and The Glorious Cause by Jeff Shaara--all his other books too. And Michael Shaara's books.

Poor Richard's Almanac. Hell, look up everything the founders ever wrote on LOC and you will have some good shit regardless. All their documents are there.

For non war stuff: Godel, Escher Bach: An Eternal Golden braid.

ALL OF ROBERT HEINLEIN (except his first book For Us The Living). They ALL have important shit.

Isaac Asimov's Foundation series--equally important shit.

A Canitcle For leibowitz by Walter Miller.

Everything by Nevile Shute. But leave On the Beach for last. The Legacy is excellent.

All of C.S. lewis, Mark Twain, George Orwell, Ayn Rand. HUXLEY.

ETA: VATTEL'S LAW OF NATIONS. Our founders were very familiar with this.

Maybe hit the restaurant supply store and get the big number ten can of chili, and the really heavy long handled can opener. The stainless steel one. Feed the whole fam with that one, or the pedes you caravanned with.

That restaurant can opener is no joke though. I own one. Costs like 20 bucks, great for opening big hands, and really heavy and well constructed. They are about 9 or 10 inches long, hand held (though I also have a wall mounted commercial one in the kitchen).

Hey, at least you are getting replies, cucked though they are. Sinema and Mc Sally have not replied to me once since I started writing mid November. No replies to the registered snail mails (and they were received), no replies to emails or voicemails when their inboxes are even accepting voicemails.

Our incoming senator here isn't answering either naturally.

If this state is going to tax me, then they should at least pretend to be representing me now and then. Luckily we are moving in a few weeks.

It is an act of war regardless of who did it. The question though is with as fluid as electronic data is, and as easy to manipulate, how do we know with confidence it is who we claim it is.

With a physical crime, you have forensic evidence, overt evidence and all kinds of other shit that is by nature hard to manipulative (until you involve tech). But with tech warfare, you can make something look like something else entirely.

In a crime scene, you have fingerprints. Physical prints, made by a physical person, that can be compared visually to other physical prints. But electronic fingerprints can be whatever their owner wishes them to be. We have deep fakes now that to the average person are indistinguishable from the real person.

I am not a tech person, but the tech people I know are most concerned by this fracas. And they also are most concerned to see anyone saying "this entity (regardless of the entity being blamed) MUST have done it".

Yep, caught it along with everything else Solarwinds related so far. This whole business of pinning this on Russia is quite interesting.

1
Serioussurfaholic 1 point ago +1 / -0

Welp, confirmed controlled opposition. What else is new. Figured as much when I watched them, though they were pretty stealthy about it at first.

Now down to Conservative Treehouse, OANN, and RSBN.

2
Serioussurfaholic 2 points ago +2 / -0

Oh, I am well aware of Solarwinds, and everyone I know is very well supplied (right down to gasoline lol). As are we.

I agree wholeheartedly. Hubby and I may be old but we are not stupid. We have prepped, planned and are positioning ourselves to be able to more strategically deal with what is now inevitable. And I hope many others here are doing the same.

There is no clean, neat solution to this any more, and realistically there stopped being one decades ago, as we allowed creeping communism to erode the Republic and compromise it.
