True. COVID certainly doesn't seem to have impacted our homeless situation where I am other than making it even worse. Between our snowbird homeless, homeless by choice, illegal homeless, mentally ill homeless and now COVID homeless my city is getting bizarre.
Hubby is a native, been here his entire life. I have been here over 30 years. You can only fight a holding action in a place for so long, especially as you get older.

I have gone to my state capitol several Saturdays, 2 hour drive one way. I call, email, write, donate, and do all I can. And I will be standing on the 6th. I would love to see a sea of American flags everywhere on that day. 80 million or more. Everywhere.

I absolutely agree with you. We need numbers in DC. Actually, we need numbers around the country. On every highway, in every capitol, on every street corner. 80 million flags, in everyone's faces.
Yes, TRUMP asked us to come to DC. But I think his call goes beyond DC. That's what the video was about the other day, showing people around the world marching and fighting for Him, America and election integrity. And I am sure he understands that some people need to stand with their flag on their home turf, because with all the shit that has happened this year they can't get to DC. And realistically, DC wouldn't hold us all--but it will damned sure hold about 5 million or so.
ALL of us count, wherever we stand. Provided we stand. Hasn't his message always been that? Hasn't his message always embraced all patriots, in every state, city, county and neighborhood?
So NO EXCUSES. I have been standing every damned day on my personal street corner, and I always collect a lot of company. I am sorry if you think my stand, on my ground, is less meaningful than my getting to DC--something that for us right now is utterly impossible. Go early. Trying to get into the area the day before will be a nightmare. As will trying to get out. And that doesn't include the very real possibility that the blue states around DC will conveniently declare lockdowns and travel bans.
