Owned by a guy born in China who lives in San Fran now. I work in Education and I was amazed at how it came out of nowhere to be the preferred video conferencing software. They claimed FERPA and HIPPA compliance but so did MS (TEAMS and SKYPE), Google (CHAT and HANGOUTS) and Apple (Facetime). But somehow, this little ass company went from 2 million users to over 300 million users in a year. I have always smelled something fishy about this...

Again, my wife was watching Grey's anatomy and the lead characters (Meridith) husband got in an accident and went brain dead. She pulled the plug almost immediately and she then quickly had him buried. Then told everyone he died! - including his sister! The sister went apeshit crazy that she wasn't allowed to say goodbye and see her brother one last time and Meredith's answer was she needed it to be over for HER sanity. It was the most self involved 'look at me' moment I've ever seen and it was totally normalized by this show! Just to make sure I had a sit down with my wife and was like "If I die - please tell my parents and siblings before you do anything" Which was insulting to her as she knew it was crazy - but I did it just to be sure cause no one else was weirded out by that display of behavior /decision making - which makes me believe it's in the realm of acceptable behavior....
Evans, Ruffalo and Hamil all work for Disney who's trying to keep China happy so they can have access to their population with their movies. Honestly, I think Disney wants it's actors to stay out of the political fray but it REALLY wants them not to piss off China. None of those Disney Actors spoke up about that so I feel like pressuring them to do so will 'break' whatever is in place that guides them on political speech.

I was reading last night and my wife was watching one of her 'shows' last night called 'This is Us' and there is an adult black guy who was adopted and raised in a white family that loved him and cared for him. Hew married a black girl and has spent (as far as I can tell cause I don't watch this show regularly) the entire series bemoaning the fact that he was raised by white people. So in the last episode he's joined an AA type group of adoptee's who were minorities who were raised by white people and one of them goes on to say she had great adoptive parents but she wished her bi-polar birth mother would have kept her!
At that point I stopped reading and started to intently watch the show so I can see how they would resolve that statement. I figured that they would cause it is obviously wrong. They never did though and it seems to be the direction this character is going. They are normalizing parental hate for kids adopted by people who aren't the same race as them.
I've seen absolute shit come out of shows like this and Greys Anatomy, Sex in the City. I'm just convinced that these shows have been normalizing terrible behavior and attitudes in women for the past 20 years and now we are suffering though it's aftermath. Something has to be done to combat this indoctrination.
Yes, but when they know they handed out 10K ballots all on tamper proof paper and 25K ballots come in and 15K of them are on non-tamper proof paper - they now get thrown out and it's law that those have to be on tamper proof paper. Trust me, I live near Wisconsin and this is a problem that has been happening in Milwaukee for years. If they did that 1 thing in Wisconsin, it would be as blue as Indiana. Also, Trump said for months before the election that they were going to use these ballots to overturn his obvious win on election night - and that's what happened. I am certain that dems are fighting this for two reasons, to try and stop these states if they can - but they know they probably wont be able to . Secondly - to build in an excuse for losing both houses in 2022. They want to say it was voter suppression that caused the loss in 2022 so that the presidential election in 2024 has democrats all riled up.....

First, they are charging people $100 a month for internet and there is no way in hell that isn't 98% profit.
