They genuinely believe that they're powerful enough and have enough control that they can, essentially, crack the world open and rewire it to something they think would be better.

In my opinion, that's why there's so much REEEEEing from them; every time they're shown that they failed at changing the world, it's a reminder that they're not as wonderful as they think they are, and that's too big a blow to their egos. They are narcissists after all.

That strongest military on the planet got bogged down for over ten years in Vietnam and almost twenty in Afghanistan, from just a bunch of guerrillas using garbage weapons and having little in terms of resources. Don't let the military's image and reputation make you think they're some kind of invincible entity.

Exactly. And there are a bunch of other factors that I don't think they're taking into account. First, Vietnam and Afghanistan are both backwaters with people that don't have the best education or access to resources, and the weapons they used were mostly garbage. Compare that to the US, where the population IS educated (relative these days), DOES have access to all kinds of resources, and has a shit ton of weaponry that is not only good, but could outgun lots of professional militaries in the world.

Then there's geography and mobility. Vietnam and Afghanistan are both the size of a midsize state, and if the military couldn't take just one of those in over a decade, how the fuck would they take all fifty? And the average citizen is very mobile. People would flood in from everywhere to help out wherever any fighting is, and they could get there very quick.

And finally, there's optics. The first jet that flies over US citizens in anger would be an absolute, total political catastrophe for the government. If you think people are pissed now, the instant that they start using major weaponry on their own citizens, millions more people will want nothing more than to see the whole of Washington burn to ashes and all members of the swamp dead.

It's just tough talk. I think they would be beyond terrified if the population rose up against them, and more than likely would flee the country.

I'm cynical enough to believe that the pilots would be "just following orders", but you have to think of what the political fallout of that would be. A United States "president" using fighter jets to bomb his own people en masse would red and black pill people like you wouldn't believe. It would be a total optics catastrophe for the government, and then people would REALLY want to see them burn to the ground.

My question is, how long will the Soros types keep propaganda outfits like this afloat? They're just going to keep hemorrhaging money for years, and it's only going to get worse. Do they have a cutoff point? How many times can the government just print money and throw it at them because they're "too big to fail"?

They stole an election and got away with it in broad daylight; I'd feel pretty bold, too.

You kidding? They'll probably give it a medal for being so stunning and brave.

That was the worst fucking advert for tourism I've ever read. It didn't offer any tourist spots worth visiting, it didn't have any bright images to entice people with, it didn't say it would be safe or fun, it was obsessed with that meaningless slogan speak (all leftists are), and it doesn't even have complete sentences in a couple spots, just fragments.

Better luck next time, Ted Wheeler. Maybe if you advertised it as a thrill ride kind of place where tourists can brave the most dilapidated ruins in the world and survive barbarian attacks you might at least get people's attention.
