I disagree that there's nothing we can do to stop this from happening in the future. The answer is incredibly simple.
What happens if you attack a bear cub? You're gonna get mauled by the momma bear right? Self preservation therefore says it's not worth it to mess with the bear cub.
What happens if you attack a white child? Maybe 25-30 years in prison? Maybe life? Where the tax payer takes care of you, houses you, feeds you, provides free medical care, and you get to do nothing and hang out with all your prison buddies.
We need to return consequences to attacking our children so the other joggers will see it and think twice. I'm not talking about the death penalty either, that's too soft. We need to make sure, every one of them understands that killing a white child will result in a fate worse than death.
We've lost our belief in God and therefore Heaven and Hell as a society, but Hell was a useful concept and we need to bring it back for these people. Their existence should be nothing but agony for weeks until their public execution, and all of it broadcast for the rest of them to see. Flay the skin from their bones, pull their fingernails out one at a time, shove white hot needles into their flesh, break their bones, water board them until they beg for death.

It's tough. I have been trying to show my parents, but I can tell they don't believe it, they think Biden would be bad for their retirement accounts, but wouldn't enact any crazy policies. They don't see us heading for civil war, and are largely unconcerned with the goings on in the cities. Even after all of BLM riots, and showing them the NFAC videos, videos of protestors surrounding cars I can't convince them to so much as buy a concealed carry. They're convinced the TV would never lie to them and everything will be fine, but rather their son has gone mad with conspiracy theories. It's maddening as he'll to feel like I'm the only one that sees all this, and has any notion in my family and friends to prep for whatever is coming.

Even the small rounds are getting bought out. Ammo prices are way up, easily 3-4 times as high from last year. Body armor sales are through the roof too. We all know something is coming.
