Well THAT'S not true. This is an unlawful and unethical order that SHOULD be disobeyed. If they wanted to press the issue they'd have to court marshal someone, and in that case they would have to prove the efficacy of vaccinating people who are not at risk of being harmed by a virus that isn't a real problem with a vaccine that's not a vaccine which has never been tested.

Sub-Saharan Africa is a part of the world I am very familiar with. It's really amazing that people there are able to do as much as they have because just trying to exist there is incredibly difficult. People like to joke that everything in Australia is trying to kill you. Bitch please. I lived there, it was nice, never felt in danger. In Africa you're never really NOT in danger. Aside from having MUCH more wildlife that's trying to kill you, you never know if the people around you might be the type to kill you. Islamic terrorists are EVERYWHERE. Crazy people and hardened criminals are EVERYWHERE. Disease is common, and outside of big cities food is unstable at best.

We in the west and the east take for granted the most valuable assets in the history of the world: security and stability. Of all kinds. Physical security, food security, law and order. In places where it's lacking in our countries, it's VERY obvious, and you just stay away from those places. In Africa, that's pretty much everywhere. Even for the wealthy, there's nowhere they can go to be actually safe and secure, except outside of Africa. It's such a basic necessity that people will flee to pretty much anywhere just to get it. That's one of the main reasons behind the rampant migration. Countries in Africa are generally powder kegs. They are jammed to the brim with too many people so there's not enough jobs or food and no hope; that's a recipe for all the bad things humanity is capable of. And it happens there, regularly.

If they can grow meat that is literally just the same muscle tissue as it would be from a real animal, which tastes and feels as good or better, which has as good or better nutritional value, which requires no hormones or vaccinations, which is as expensive or cheaper, and which is as plentiful or more so than regular meat from an animal, then yes, I would eat it. The chances of that happening in my lifetime, barring Star Trek replicator technology coming about, is zero.

They should focus on working WITH farmers to make their products better, more humane, cheaper, and more sustainable, not moralizing about who gets to eat what.
