Hey, I'm just using the language from the codes. Maybe it's inconsitent with the federal definition? In any case, it's in the courts hands now and I'm hoping for the best.

I mean, I'm not super familiar with law stuff, but I got that from the document itself. https://cdn.donaldjtrump.com/public-files/press_assets/nov-17-doc-2.pdf.
Ah looked it up before finishing the comment, this is specific procedure for contesting a Nevada election, found from the Nevada Secretary of State website. This is where we are: NRS 293.407. So, it looks like the people who were elected (in this case the Biden electors) are the defendants for a contest.

Seems to be a bit of confusion here about which part of the Electoral College is doing what. Basically, the electors who would be sent if Trump takes Nevada are sueing the electors that would be sent for Biden. They are asking, if they win the case, for either Trump do be declared the victor so they are the ones certified as electors, or failing that, that no electors be certified. So it's the same kind of thing that's happening in the other states, it's just that the plantiffs and defendants are the candidates for the Electoral College this time.
