Agreed but I thought I just read that the legislature or whatever overrode her vero?

I think the 'law enforcement discount' you speak of was the clerks thinking you were robbing them so they just handed over the merchandise, lol.

I think you're on to something. Of course, only the lefties get to 'care' for the children and make millions doing it.

Memes and shitposts aside, posts made as an actual newsworthy item should really have a valid source included. But I doubt it will ever be a thing.

I've said it many times before... Laziness and apathy will be our downfall. 'Our' being the US.

Lol! Yeah, Several years ago, I had a fridge that I was having some issues with and hidden somewhere under the unit was a whole wiring/repair guide. I forgot about that! Great find!

There isn't a whole lot that bothers me, but I about cried after watching a doc on that fucker.

Not sure, but what about the DIY win site?

I was referring to muslim attacks. LV was definitely tucked up though. Memory-holed that one really fast.

That's funny! I look at a picture like this and make assumptions, and you come along and blow them out of the water. The fact that he might have smiled after making this face makes it all the more awesome.

San Bernandino, I think? Yeah, that was a Muslim couple iirc. That was 12/15, so before he was elected....

Edited cause I can't remember dates for shit.

Seriously, were there ANY during President Trumps tenure? I seem to remember a big drop-off (to zero) of Muzzie terror attacks within the US. Maybe I'm just foggy...

Ok, you wrote Ed Bundy. Based on a later comment, I thought you wrote, "Ted Bundy was right" in error. That would have been my hilarious "DOH!!" for the day....

I'm in Florida and my area is pretty based, but Nextdoor was still full of everyone who wasn't lol.

Shroudedf8 1 point ago +1 / -0

Very well stated. My parents retired to Florida 30 years ago and bought a house in an HOA community. Whoa. We all swore to never do that again. They bought another house 10 years later, where I live now. No HOA.

Sheesh... As a non-user of social media, based on a mailing I decided to try Nextdoor. Seemed like a good idea for very local info and such. Whoa! The Karens and male soy runs rampant. Everyone complaining about anti-maskers and getting into other peoples business. I made one post that only quoted the Ben Franklin saying regarding giving up liberty for safety and had the post deleted by some asshole. That was the end of that.

I don't know, I subscribe to the theory that it's never been a good idea to post personal shit on the internet.

Interestingly, the whole article pretty much says that coughing into an elbow and other steps are ineffective. Also, that masks are ineffective. But then, near the end (prior to the conclusion that masks are ineffective, lol) the authors write:

"In theory, transmission should be reduced the most if both infected members and other contacts wear masks..."

It's like the child who knows Santa isn't real but wants him to be real soo badly that they will continue to force the belief onto themselves and others.

"In theory, transmission should be reduced the most if both infected members and other contacts wear masks,"...but reality dictates that masks have no impact.

That's how the sentence SHOULD conclude.

(I couldn't get the archive link to work, so I just went the the actual CDC article.)

Well, you don't appear to be wrong re HB 741. It does prohibit religious discrimination in schools, which is fine. Surprised it wasn't in legislature before. But, it appears to also define antisemitism pretty broadly. Not sure what I think about that on the surface as it relates to racial/religious discrimination. I need more coffee before I interpret it as anti-1A or not. Though, it's a stretch to conflate HB 741 with Israel dictating Florida's policy on vaccine passports.

I'm not sure if I should laugh or express condolences or...??

Sometimes I laugh at shit like this as humorous satire. But when I realize that it's not meant to be humorous satire, I too share your concern.

No shit. I know people have talked about it. But it amazes me that people who hate us spend time on TD. The last place I would want to go make comments is huffpo or CNN or deddit.
