An idea how to collaborate with the GOP to create the next wave of politicians. Let's discuss:
We need to demand behavior from candidates which aligns with our goals and believes. We can do so by creating a list of requirements for congress candidates The days of "I lie to you, hopefully, you won't remember a think in six years must be over." The GOP needs to commit to this, otherwise, we form a new party. Or, we only vote for GOP candidates who follow our rules.
I came up with three commandments so far. Here they are:
COMMITMENT TO YOUR CONSTITUENTS
The local party, or the GOP, or every candidate for congress submits a list of top promises. These promises are unbreakable. If a vote is held on any of these promises, (s)he has to vote as promised. Failure to do so automatically disqualifies him ever again running for GOP. Furthermore, the person is immediately publicly disavowed by the party and invited to step down.
Goal: Avoid McCain shitting on the entire GOP when it came down to dismantling Obama-care.
UTMOST RESPECT TO YOUR ELECTED COLLEAGUES
Abusive language against your party colleagues is unacceptable. Immediate disqalification for further elections. Public expulsion from the party and an invitation to step down.
Goal: Swift action against brutes like Mitch McConnell calling his elected colleague, Marjorie Taylor Greene, a cancer. Un-fucking-acceptable.
WHEN A PARTY MEMBER GOES AGAINST MAJORITY OF CONSTITUENTS - CONSEQUENCES
There are some rare situation when the majority party view is well-knwon, and, easy to prove by polls. In this situation the elected person has to to vote inline with peoples will.
Goal: Liz Chenney must be strippedfrom all official positions in the GOP. She has the right to vote for impeachment. When 70% of the GOP is against, she must be pushed down.
