They don't actually believe what they say. This is what confuses most of us on the right. Leftists never speak what they believe to be true as it is irrelevant to the conversation. They say only what is most likely to achieve their goal. It's like being on the debate team and arguing a point of view you disagree with just to win the debate. The concept of democrat, (and rino) talking points is just another way of saying dishonest rhetoric. All that comes out of their mouths is deceptive bullshit agreed upon as most likely to persuade or demoralize their opposition. We exist in a new world where rhetoric doesn't matter, it is a lie. Optics don't matter, the framing of a situation is a lie. Debate doesn't matter as the other side is dishonest and beyond persuasion. The only path forward is to do what is right, honestly express that we will do the right thing no matter what our opposition says, and refuse to quit, or even compromise. Any honest man will be drawn to our cause, and the rest don't matter anyway. It is time to stop arguing with the left and time to start fighting to achieve the goals of the right.
