I just want you to know that this idea of the hacky sack hippie is just a sterotype. There are a ton of hacky sack hippies that don’t smoke cause it “causes them anxiety” just as there are countless high functioning smokers who treat herb with the same sort of class with which you might drink a glass of wine at night. You’d never even know they smoked pot if your expectation was that they’d be lazy eyed and smelly.
Used appropriately marijuana can be really great for people and it doesn’t turn them into burnouts. That burnout vibe is mostly a fashion choice that many find equally as obnoxious as you do. If you’re smoking until you’re retarded you’re no different than the guy who drinks himself into oblivion... freedom and personal accountability go hand in hand
