My parents laid off their workers yesterday when the paycheck protection loan was denied for lack of funds. They had been paying out of their pockets for almost a month in anticipation of getting it back. They are far from wealthy, so it hurts bad.

Link to this discussion? My wife and I, and all her extended family had this Christmas sickness. They had flu symptoms, I was the only one to skate with body aches and fatigue, followed by a very strange sore throat and cough and then 3 weeks of lung congestion. Strangest sickness ever. We've been telling people (somewhat jokingly) when they talk about corona that we've already had it in January.
