If Congress works out a solution there's not much he can do about it. (I'm doubtful they will)

The state claimed the dead voters died between the time they submitted the ballot and when it was counted.

If they voted in time, I would think the vote should count unless something else was wrong with the ballot. Like they didn't sign the envelope, etc.

Maybe they didn't deliberately unleash crack cocaine on the black community, but they damn sure aided in smuggling the drugs into the US knowing fellow Americans would end up using it.

Good question. I don't have an answer for you. Maybe there's an information security person who can chime in.

As much as the press can be an annoyance I have a difficult time justifying the intimidation tactics we've been talking about.

Hopefully, investigative journalists are practicing some sort information security besides changing passwords.

Funny how NPR criticizes Trump several times in that article, but does not.push back.on Biden at all.

There's a scene in the movie where Webb hears someone out by his car, so he goes out to investigate and fires his gun in the air to scare the person off. The police are called and "several someones" enter the house and go to Webb's study where they start searching through his papers and notes. Webb's son sees them and calls his parents who tell the men to leave.

Reminds me of a story I read years ago. DHS and Md Police searched the home of a man, with a previous felony conviction, for guns. His wife, Audrey Hudson, was a reporter who had published an article about the air marshalls. They seized her notes. Obviously the warrant was a pretext to get to her notes. more info

Based on the comments the person in the car was attempting a moving pick. Whistle blown and penalty applied.

I don't think this is a bad idea. The stadium can handle a large crowd and provide cover. Plus there's public transportation. They can run extra busses to handle the crowd if necessary

It's pretty pervasive among crafters in general but particularly among textiles.

I ended up blocking people in an embroidery group I belong to fb. They were dominant posters who shared a lot of kink images. I can appreciate their skill, I didn't care for the subject.

Etsy is another cesspit of TDS.

Easier said than done. Ravelry is by far the largest website of its kind and the projectsare widely shared. So if I search on pinterest, for example, I'm likely to end up on Ravelry.

I just don't bother to participate in the groups anymore and don't purchase anything through their links, unless it's a free pattern and the designer has refrained from exposing me to TDS.

“The factual underpinning of the controlling Supreme Court decision has changed, but that does not grant a court of appeals license to disregard or overrule that precedent,” the three-judge panel ruled, adding that “only the Supreme Court may overrule its precedents.”

Thursday’s ruling overturns a 2019 decision from a lower court that the male-only draft is unconstitutional.

Aaaaaaand once again Congress has failed in its duty to address a deficiency of law by expecting the Judicial Branch to make the unpopular decisions.

No other culture has ever embraced hard work or individualism, I guess.

One only needs to look at ancient cultures and empires to see how ridiculous that statement is.

I see your point. The assaulter is 100% responsible for his actions, but the brother is also responsible for goading him. There's no doubt he got the exact reaction he wanted. He more or less beat up the Macy's employee by proxy

I hope the brother is charged for instigating the whole incident.

That was a condescending interview.

Kamala's biggest faults seem to be she's married to a white guy and she's not Stacey Abrams lol

Jayden's statement is dumb. The country is "on fire" in part because of actions of Biden and Harris took while in office.

Do you think Reddit will figure out that maybe the riots are being tolerated not because the Dems are true believers but because the rioters are damned convenient?

She'll be nominated for secretary of state
