The only problem I have with your prediction is that it won't allow Heels Up to have two full terms on her own. Unless, she officially takes over after the midpoint of Biden's four year term. They think they got away with playing Weekend at Bernie's through the election, they'll at least try that through two years. So, I'd put the official take over at two years and one day into the term China gave Joe Pedo.
I don't speak Chinese, and Google translate isn't exactly an absolute authority on language. It's translations can be quite comical at times. And I don't doubt that baizuo means "white left"/"limousine liberal" like you and SwineFlu say.
I just find it interesting Google translates the word the Chinese use for "white left" as "for nothing".
Interestingly, Google translate translates "white left" as "bai zuo". Not saying you're wrong, far from it. It's common for two words being joined together to form one word, especially in Chinese. But what's also interesting is other translations Google gives:
- Baizuo - "For Nothing"
- Baizou - "Defeated"
I think "white left" and "for nothing" are both appropriate. Which is probably why Chinese Internet users went with "baizuo" over "bai zuo", for the dual meaning - the "white left" stands "for nothing".
Then, switching the o and u around gives you "defeated", I think that's just coincidence, but a funny one. The white left that stand of nothing are defeated.
His wife is from Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. He's become a big Tigres fan, the soccer team for the state university there, and has even done commercials for them. My wife's from Monterrey too, and I've spent some time down there. I've also spent about six months in LA, around 2001-2002. Considering that California has only gone downhill from there and Monterrey has become nicer since 2005, I'd pick Monterrey over Cali. Rob could afford to live in San Pedro, the rich part of Monterrey where all the drug lords and other rich people live.
There was a video four or five years ago, back when NYC was implementing a ban on the sell of sugary drinks over a certain size (as well as an additional tax on all sugary drinks I think). In the video, the filmmakers went to a pro-choice or democrat conference, asking about attendees stance on abortion. They all replied with pretty much the party line of "my body, my choice". They were then asked about the government having the authority to ban soft drinks based on sugar content. Again, they all replied with what amounted to the party line of "yes, because of the public health."
When asked why "my body, my choice" didn't apply to choice of drink, nothing but blank stares.
How does music volume have any effect on transmission rate of a virus?
I'm not a drinker, but wouldn't alcohol have a good chance to kill any of the virus that managed to get into your mouth? Wouldn't reasonable alcohol consumption actually help prevent transmission?
Cut the cable cord completely. Pluto TV has Newsmax and other conservative news channels. There are also alternatives to Pluto TV with conservative news channels (STIRR, XUMO, DistroTV, and AnthymTV to name a few). Roku, FireTV, Apple TV, and Android TV should all have Pluto TV available, and probably several alternatives. Aside from the one-time hardware cost and the mostly Internet connection bill (neither of which go to Pluto or the alternatives), they're free.
I can guarantee two things about Rudy's BBQ:
- You can get better BBQ someplace else right now
- That someplace will be someplace else tomorrow, and another place the following day, etc.
Rudy's is consistently good in its quality, and doesn't vary as much as other places. If you just want good, you go to Rudy's. If you want great, roll the dice elsewhere - or drive to Lockhart.
And that goes for all Rudy's except in Killeen. That one needs help.
There's an old calculus joke that 2+2=5 for extremely large values of 2. That progressive are actually pushing that 2+2=5 is acceptable proves we're living in a clown world.
