Is your family religious? I've heard a lot of people refer to the capital as a temple of our democracy. Remind them what Jesus did when he found the money changers and merchants making the temple into a den of thieves, enriching themselves at the expense of the common people going to worship.

I guess I’m more forgiving than most, I’d say anyone who voted to object to electors. The rest need to become pariahs in the conservative movement.

A lot of people here seem to think if they’re not hearing a rep or senator on the news railing against what’s happening then they aren’t doing anything. It’s a body of 535, not everyone can rise to the top or is necessarily the best voice to be heard. I remember seeing several Republican reps yield their time to Gaetz so he could speak for longer when he was excoriating the fraud. They deserve respect for that, both for siding with him and for recognizing he would do the better job voicing the argument, rather than trying to grab the spotlight for themselves.

Look, I don’t see reason to believe any of the Q stuff, but if it turns out to be true, great! However, my understanding is it doesn’t require us, the common patriots, to do anything. The big and powerful white hats behind the scenes just need us to stay out of the way once the action starts. So in the meantime, let’s start working as if that wasn’t going to happen, organizing candidates for 2022 and pushing hard for election reform. Worst case scenario, we got a jump on finding people to replace all the corrupt senators and representatives about to be locked up. Best case, we’re getting ready to primary the worthless RINOs out.

What did you click on to get the comment box? I don't see one.

North America was always one of my favorite continents to start off holding in Risk. Only three entry points, decent troop bonus. Of course, my friends and I upgraded to Risk 2250 in high school, with undersea and lunar colonies that made things a touch more complicated.

No clue. Tweet says 17 hours, which I believe is still 2-3 hours away, assuming that time stamp is my time zone.

The movie version missed the whole point of the original story.

Forget old school cartoons from several decades ago. Something like the more recent “The Looney Tunes Show”, which was on the air 2011-2014, would never be allowed today. There’s an episode where Daffy joins the Marines (initially thinking it has something to do with sea life) that ends with him freeing Bugs from an Albanian prison in a raid where he uses an automatic rifle and grenades along with the rest of his squad. Can you imagine them portraying the US military in a positive way today? The new Looney Tunes on HBO won’t even let Elmer Fudd have his shotgun!

The truth is no one who’s going to be posting here knows. There’s good reason to doubt, and good reason to hope. Enough weird stuff going on where we can see that it might mean something big is happening behind the scenes where we can’t see. On the other hand, that might all be nothing but political theatre or coincidence. Just be prepared for the worst, hope for the best. Have a few weeks worth of supplies on hand. If nothing happens, you can eat it later or save it for another emergency.

So your answer is to, what? Lay down and take it? Sorry, I’m going to do what I can. I’d rather fail knowing I tried, even if there never was a realistic chance, then just surrender.

In some states, yes, but not everywhere. We have to do what we can, where we can, if we’re going to change anything for the better. Get our people in place in as many local, state, and federal positions as possible, and everywhere we do, have them use every ounce of their power to make our elections more free, more fair, and more secure. Require ID, get rid of machines, ensure records are maintained for an extended period so they can be audited.

Regardless of outcome, I’m going to run to primary my local RINO representative. Might end up being a pipe dream, but I’ve decided I have to give it a shot.

Looking into running to primary a local rino that voted to certify. My representative voted to object, but our neighboring district's did not. Turns out you don't have to live in the district to run, and I'm just next door, drive over there shopping at least a few times a month. Then in 2025 will look into doing the same to our senator that voted to certify.

Disagree. He’s one of only 6 in the senate that voted to object, for that alone he deserves respect. He has his disagreements with Trump on select specific issues and on his tone and demeanor. He’s allowed to, that’s freedom. He’s backed Trump on almost every important issue since his election, and on the few he hasn’t, I’ve seen no evidence it was corruption or anything other than a legitimate disagreement. Let’s not get so dogmatic that anyone who isn’t in lock step is our enemy.

Just like 1776, a revolution has to start with a Declaration of Independence.

I do believe Trump is going to win, one way or another, but saying no secession is like saying you won’t use nuclear weapons under any circumstances. It needs to be there if only as a deterrent, to let the deep state know we won’t accept this. It’s a dire option of last resort, but we have to have the spine to stand by our principles and say we won’t be ruled by obvious tyrants installed with a fraudulent election, regardless of the cost.

Re-read it. "If". There are still other alternatives. But if it comes down to it and they actually seat Biden, it's time to secede.

SkyKirasagi 3 points ago +3 / -0

If the alternative is being part of a country that will allow a transparently rigged election to go forward and seat the "winners", then #Texit all the way. Signed, A Texan

The truth about race is that it doesn’t fucking matter. MAGA comes in all colors. Sadly, so too does communism.

Perhaps I’m biased by my personal interests, but it’s kind of hard to top when we were landing men on the moon. Hopefully Trump and Musk can work something out so we finally go even bigger.

You say that as if there aren't plenty of cases of starving humans turning to cannibalism. At the end of the day, we're all animals, and we all will do what we have to in order to survive. You trap any animal, cat, dog, anything that can eat meat, in a house with that it can't get out of with the body of its owner, with no other source of food, it doesn't matter how much of a bond they had, eventually they're going to eat the only available source of food. Cue footage of Alex Jones talking about how he'll eat his neighbors.

Not saying this is true, by any means, but it would fit with some other unusual things happening recently. Biden is suddenly being let in on briefings. The whole foot brace, and some people saying it's to hide a tracker. And come to think of it, his injury was supposedly caused by his dog. Long shot, but stranger conspiracy theories have proven to be true in the past.
