I wish you luck.... but I keep thinking of the Tea Party, and how they tried to reform the GOP from the inside, and they gave us Paul Ryan. I think the GOP has driven some very deep ruts in the "go along to get along" road, and I don't have a lot of faith that anyone can jump out of those ruts and take a new path without switching to a new vehicle.

Well, I know a lot of Norwegians (I worked there) and the English you got came with the accent of whoever taught them.

no one yet has explained her British accent,

I can explain this one: In Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, everyone learns English but they all have different accents because they sound like wherever their teacher was from.

Maybe it's more like "Hey, who wants to go look at child porn on these laptops for the next three days ?"
(Crickets)

"...or we have a question about Nascar at Talladega--"

"ME!" "Me too!" "Me, ME me!"

I wish I could upvote this 100 times... but I'm not a democrat, so once is enough.

I can't give this post enough upvotes! Man VS Car is my favorite show this season.

This is fake news--The parts were the safety selector pin, a $6.39 part on Midway.com. The Customs weenies estimated the "street Value" at $12, which is clearly inflated. As for this being an assault weapon part, I suppose it is, in the same way a sling or a roll pin is.

It's fake news all the way down. The picture CBP posted shows it was 10,800 AR-15 safety switches, not exactly an assault weapon part. CBP said it had a "street value" of 129,600 which means they estimate each switch is worth exactly $12.00. On MIDWAY.COM these go for $6.29. If your plan is to build an assault weapon starting on an AR-15 safety, you are going about it the realllly long way...

I will do the same thing I do on every phone survey. I will identify as a black hispanic female. Of course, after driving for more than 40 years, I've only been pulled over twice, so.... it probably won't come up.

It's fake news. according to CBP photo it's AR-15 Safety switches, with a CBP exaggerated "street Value" of 129,600, which if divided by 10,800 comes out to an even $12. These parts cost 6.29 today on Midway.com, AR15 isn't an "Assault Weapon", and all this is is a guy trying to order enough parts to corner the market. Worst case is it's a guy not paying the tax on an import.

Sorry, Pedes, but this is Fake News. 10,800 items with a street value if $129,800 is a part worth $12.00. There's a picture on the CBP site, and it's AR15 Safety Switches, which are NOT"assault weapons parts" , and have a street value of $6.29 according to Midway
