Really happy to see this posted. I had written this place off as having fallen to demoralization. Glad to see that is not the case.
They try to twist it around, that we are actually preventing something from happening, by having faith, which they call, “complacency.” Then they bring up Q and accuse you of, “muh trust the plan,” unless you completely renounce Trump.
The optimists are the ones who get things done, not the “realists.” I’ve thought that maybe these guys just have no military experience and don’t understand how morale works, yet I also am suspicious that some are deliberate demoralizers.
This desire to be “correct” is really, really annoying. The idea that anyone gives a damn that some gamma online was right about something. Meanwhile, the whole place is in danger of demoralization because of the fool’s cowardice and inability to dare to hope.
This is what people need to understand. The situation will get very, very bad.

The thing is, we already know what all the doomers bitch about. We know there is a chance of failure, and ruin.
Imagine that you’re a paratrooper, on an aircraft over the Loire Valley, in France, in 1944. You’re sitting there, waiting with your company, to jump. You’re saying prayers, thinking about home, and otherwise trying to distract yourself. Meanwhile, there’s a guy on your right, saying “it really doesn’t matter how you pray, 35% of us will be killed before we hit the ground. I’m just being realistic.”
Also, he is just another private. He isn’t one of Eisenhower’s staff. He isn’t your company commander, platoon leader, or even your squad leader. All he is doing, is reminding you that you’re about to die.
What would the company first sergeant do, after he walks by, and hears that shit?
How are you missing them? They are on every thread. You can’t build any morale or momentum before one of them tsks tsks, and sucks up all of the energy. They don’t understand our actual mission.

Some people, instead of criticizing President Trump, need to toughen up, and accept that we’re going to have to endure anxiety for a little bit, and wait for President Trump to do what he chooses to do.
