Here in the rural farmland of central CA, we are based AF and forged in the fire of the "boot on the neck" brand of liberalism. I often travel to red states and marvel at the level of ignorance of average conservatives who don't know how bad it can get, and how fast it gets there. We know. It's like having left Romania for the USA after living under communism.
I've not always lived in CA, do I have some perspective. There are some unconscious things that those who have always lived in liberal areas have, like assuming you need building permits, etc. When I bring friends from Idaho, Texas, and other states, they are often shocked that rural CA is politically the same as thier red states, if not more based.
Used laptops can be had fir like 20-40 bucks. I bet someone here would even give you one if you promised go make a buttload of stickers.
