Somebody spilled something, so they cleaned it? The drinks machine broke down and they replaced one part with another part that had been freshly washed? Someone had cleaned out a container before introducing more material to it? I don't know how their machine works, and it's possible that the employee didn't know either.

Why even hire a college graduate for anything at this point? Unless it's something for which you really do specifically need a college education - medicine, for example, maybe something highly technical - what makes a college degree even remotely valuable in the eyes of any sane employer?
The high school or trade school graduate doesn't have student loans and hasn't been inculcated with (as much) batshit insanity. Hire that person instead.
