Oregon is the same as california. Leaving the forest untouched is a religion for the state so we make it difficult to log, never clear underbrush, then wring our hands and scream about climate change when it all burns down.

Clown world

It's true. People in Japan are thrilled with any effort westerners make to participate. If you say "arigato" with a terrible accent they will act like you just cured cancer.

posturing and nonsense. No way this gets through the senate. You can't pass a constitutional amendment with a simple majority.

Trump achieved a great deal. He got out maneuvered by the plandemic and that cost him (us) the next four years.

But he tore the mask off the face of the establishment. The beast is revealed.

What happens next is up to us

It makes them feel important to think that they are a target.

It's entirely possible that investors don't like their practices and don't want to support them, regardless of the financial benefit of the investment.

I get why they are doing it. They are trying to show it's safe. The problem is that there could be literally anything in the syringes.

What bothers me more is that they are already moving the goalposts. No surprise of course, but still completely frustrating.

If you are going to tell me I still have to do all the same social distance mask BS even if I get the vaccine then there's no incentive and they can all go to hell.

Unfortunately it's not something you get on every phone. It requires a specific receiver that currently sells for $500.

Imagine being surprised that people don't want the government tracking their every move.

Only counts if you have watchers from both parties able to effectively watch the proceedings.

By that I mean, less than 3 feet from it.

well, this is trash. I don't think any of us want Trump to be a dictator. We want him to save us from the dictatorial bullshit that is gripping our nation.

Justice Roberts is a coward. Tons of evidence of voter fraud. Nobody seems to care but us.

Pretty much S.O.P

Actually I don't think Tommy was wrong in his rant. He sounds like a guy at the end of his rope. It sounds to me like he has warned people multiple times and finally lost it.

He's right that the production WILL get shut down if they get caught not following "the rules". If you listen to his rant, he never once says anything about health or "safety". It's 100% jobs and insurance companies and getting forced to shut down.

He's under a microscope, and if he's telling the truth in his rant, he's losing sleep over the stress of keeping the production going. He knows that the only way to keep these people employed is if everyone is 100% compliant all the time.

Cruise is a nut. No doubt. But I can absolutely understand where he's coming from here. With the kind of money getting thrown around there they don't have the luxury of saying "screw your social distancing we're going to do it our way" because the plug WILL get pulled.

Maybe he is a guy who is all about masks and wears one in his car by himself and all that. I dunno. But this rant doesn't include any of that. The dude is crazy rich. He could bunker up and come out when the state emperors declare that covid is over. He doesn't have to be fighting to keep a production going, which tells me that he probably really is worried about keeping his crew employed.

Jesus, he's been bashing the right openly since 2016.

Suck it up, buttercup.

Once again, the left accuses you of what they are doing. Listen to a lefty talk about social distancing and mask wearing and tell me they don't sound like a cult.

Listen to them talk about black lives and white privilege and tell me they don't sound like a cult.

Listen to them try to justify abortion

Listen to them talk about climate change.

It's a religion for them. They want to burn the heretics.

I think Mike Rowe is at his limit. He's always managed to avoid hot button topics and keep things away from politics. But between this and his recent post about the lockdown BS, you can tell he's tired of keeping his mouth shut.

You know, I can't even find the actual guideline they are referencing. So either they are wrong in the tweet about the 1 in 250k, or they are wrong about the percent of .0008%.

Whatever. It's a very small number in either case.

1 in 250,000 is within the acceptable error rate. That is .004%. 1 divided by 250000 = .000004 X 100 = .0004%

2 in 250,000 is .008%, which, as I'm rereading this thing, might be the upward limit of acceptable. So 2 in 250k is ok, but any more than that is unacceptable.

In either case. A very small number.
