I agree with some of what you are saying, but disagree with your thought on Trump being able to threaten McConnel with the majority. McConnel actually PREFERS to be the minority leader. It is how he has operated for years. He is excellent at making deals with the opposition to throw just enough Republican senator support for Democrat bills to pass. He has a cabal of 7 or 8 Republican senators that he can lean on to provide said support. He gets a sweet payoff to do so. He isn't able to game the Senate as much like this when the Republicans are the majority. Instead of being the person selling votes, he has to be the person buying votes when Republicans are the majority. Bitch McConnel would much rather be the person selling the votes and to be that person you have to be the Minority leader, not the Majority leader.
Don't care who is okay with the commission. If you take a look at how these commissions have historically worked, it has overwhelmingly been solely for optics to pacify those who are incensed over wrongdoing. It dilutes the anger enough to where they can just continue business as usual, only they get to say "we did something" in the end in order for enough people to think they are still working for the American people and not the special interests that pay them.
Actually, no. Some of us peeps have an excellent memory that extends further than him saying he would take up the SCOTUS case (which we don't know if he would've actually did a good job or not....you ASSUME he would have). Some of us remember his behavior prior to that and some of us remember how some of his funding came from McConnel's coffers when he was running for President. That's not a goldfish memory, that's taking all his behavior and providing context to it in order to suss out just what kind of actor Cruz is.
Yeah, but with the caveat that they need a 10 day audit of the election. Who is going to do that audit? Most likely the same swamp creatures that have been saying "nothing to see here" up until this point. It's a classic pacify the upset until they aren't around and then brush shit aside move. Just like the Warren Commission on Kennedy's assassination.
When he says "unless and until the audit is completed" it kind of goes against the first part of the statement. January 6 is way before 10 days. They will reject the electors and everyone will be pacified on the 6th. 10 days later, they will have their phony emergency audit completed and say "nothing to see here" and try to just move things along for a Biden inauguration. Reject the electors permanently!
This is great. Thanks for doing this! We cannot let them co-opt and neutralize the American people's stand against this charade!
Exactly. The time for investigating was 2 months ago.
McConnel is a master at co-opting movements. He did it to the Tea Party and he is doing it here. It is like breathing for the guy. I was so blind to it before but now that I've seen it enough I can't unsee it.
Yeah...9 births and mom is still looking hella fine.
Would love to see this as a Forever Stamp.
This is pretty much it. If they would've just let Ron Paul run an honest campaign we would've never needed a Trump. Here we are with Trump and the same tactics. Trump has been so nice up until now, yet they continue with their bullshit. Nice is going away real quick.
Yeah, when Rand was explaining his position it made total sense. It is the States' jobs to ensure an honest election took place. Unfortunately, we are way past any rules being followed. The level and depth of illegal collusion that is going on behind the scenes is massive.
I am hoping that is it.
She wanted a new garage door and thought it would be a good opportunity to try and make her look like a victim while simultaneously casting shade at her opposition.
The little bit I have garnered is that Paul actually is not on board with this. I saw in an interview somewhere that he said he doesn't believe in objecting to electors certified by states. That it is the State's respective duties to ensure that accurate certifications are provided.
BIG OOF by Rand Paul in my opinion if true and I am typically a huge Rand Paul supporter. His ideology is blinding him to the fact that sometimes some states cannot be trusted and in those cases congress is supposed to act as a check and balance of sorts.
No. Fuck you and fuck your husband for "just following orders (so I can get that sweet pension)"! They aren't being forced to do shit. If the police actually upheld their oath to the constitution (in the US anyway) they would tell the mayors and others that order them to act in unconstitutional ways to fuck off.
I love that he included Nikki Haley in this. Fuck that overbearing cunt!
That's what it was supposed to be when it was first started. Would love to live to see that.
Fuck that and fuck you, shill. The cops have already indicated they only do their job when it is against people who are law abiding citizens but aren't protesting for the "approved" side. They do not uphold their oath to the Constitution one bit and that is a serious issue. That oath is more important than the leftist assholes your proclaim they have to be dealing with.
Pay attention!
It wasn't rape, rape.
Haha, yeah. You are right about Fargo, too. It dreams of being Minneapolis for whatever reason and goes out of its way to try and be it.
Probably because Pence isn't going to come through in the end like many people here are resting their hopes on. Pence got a letter at the Bush funeral. He also was super chummy with the Clintons there. He also requested the court throw out the case that Gohmert filed to broaden his powers as VP during the electoral count.
Same with John Hoeven from North Dakota. He was super popular as governor there and used that to get elected to Senate.
Apples don't fall far from the tree but I guess they still do fall from the tree.
