I don't know what you think he could do realistically. Breaching the capital put him in a hole their was no escaping and they quickly impeached him. Anyone who thought he could realistically stay President invoking the insurrection act just wasn't thinking beyond keeping him in office. The kaos and the backlash would so huge even from his own ranks and that the government basically wouldn't function after resignations and such and they would impeach him anyway. This is why he never really even considered it. Now he is home with a business to put back together with banks refusing to keep his money I mean how stupid is that. 2 weeks to prepare for an impeachment trial. He is doing what he needs to do which is lay low and take care of business. Keep himself out of the news so that China Joe is the one in the news while he kills jobs, raises taxes, and spends money we don't have plus forgets he did it 20 minutes later.
