Then at some point the hammer drops with such clear and convincing evidence that the average joe sees the truth before their eyes; one giant redpill.

Metadata in pictures are useful for exposing information (type of phone used for the picture, GPS coordinates of the picture if that setting is turned on). It can further incriminate and validate the origin.
Metadata in email will simply have lots of server timestamps and a "history" trail of where the email was sent from, what server IP it arrived at, and other crucial data that verifies it really traveled through the internet at that point in time and wasn't made up with fake gibberish.
The importance of validating is not for us, but for the naysayers that pretend the emails are fake. It would be like saying a diamond is fake, but then a jeweler proves it's real by inspecting it and then using it to cut into steel.
At least it's an optional theme you need to search for and download yourself. It's the software and game creators that SHOVE shit in your face that are the ones worthy of the boot. Agree, it was one of the CORE METHODS to validate the Wikileaks emails. DKIM signatures in the email cannot be faked, because it's literally a hash of the entire message with timestamps. Email headers are crucial to get out into the public.
