In New York, we also have ridiculously excessive transfer taxes and even a "mansion tax" for property over $1 million. Funny, because in NYC I don't think you could find a property under a million, so you get to pay a nice little "mansion tax" on your 1 bedroom shoebox in manhattan. Nice.
It really is unbelievable the lengths they went to to destroy that sub. What a load of shit. 5 years ago reddit was great. What an actual travesty. We really need legislation regulating the internet in terms of website overreach over active users and communities. This type of shit shouldn't be allowed to happen.
