Don’t worry about the springs bud, the constant compression of the spring does not effect it so storing loaded mags is not going to harm anything. Natural usage is what kills mags, the constant full to empty, reload, full to empty eventually kills it. Compression to decompression, over and over wears the spring out. Besides, empty mags get you clapped.

What I have are the ‘Kuled 10-LED Motion Sensor stick on lights’ I got them in a 3 pack on Amazon for $20. Takes 4 AAA batteries. Motion sensor works great. Battery life is ehhh but I’m in and out my safe to much tbh and wanted something that if the power goes out I got lighting.

Taking in the fact ammo is scarce and if you do indeed find it, the price rapes me nowadays...

So Yes, I’m shooting far less that what I used to..my stock is my stock and I find happiness when I look at it.

Science. The springs being compressed constantly has no effect. Springs being compressed and decompressed constantly (overall usage) is what kills them.
