I consider Rush Limbaugh a national treasure, but for him to waste his time and energy - which due to his cancer he can ill afford to expend - on three dolts that have the collective IQ of a used toothbrush in trying to get them to open their eyes was just head scratching to me. Yeah, I suppose it's a good PR move and Rush also is genuinely trying to reach out and find common ground, so that is commendable. But the attitude of those he sat down with was not one of trying to find common ground so much as it was them demanding unconditional surrender from Limbaugh, and for him to confess and beg forgiveness. But I digress.
The attitude of the Breakfast Clubbers comes from the hideous propaganda of Leftists like the execrable Mayor of Seattle Jenny Durkan. Ironically, in her disgusting words blaming "white men" for the violence, she's not entirely wrong. Blacks and other minorities have been put upon for generations by white Americans - historically, specifically and exclusively as a matter of policy and political expediency by the Democrat Party and the American Leftist Movement. Period, full stop. Charlamagne tha Gd and his other two pals maybe don't see it, but after nearly four years of the Trump presidency, I'd bet others do. And that is what had the Democrats scared out of their minds up until the phony pandemic lockdowns. Like everything else you are being shown in the media, I'd wager most American Blacks are fed up with having their neighborhoods burned to the ground every so often so that Democrats have yet another cudgel with which to tear at the fabric of society in their constant bid for power.
Yep. The rioters have been trying to move to Atlanta suburbs with little success. Last target was Gainesville for some unknown reason. It is well more than an hour drive from Atlanta and is known for two things - University of North Georgia and chicken processing plants filled with illegal immigrants.
It's funny to hear them repeat pablums like "Dismantle mechanism of white supremacy" without specifying what that means. Can they name just one or two steps required to do so? Or are they afraid that once they get into the details of what that means that people will see it for the backdoor communism it likely is.
They did something similar in metro Atlanta last night. They couldn't gather downtown, so they went up 85 to a mall to protest in the suburb of Duluth. They were kicked out of there and then went even further north on 85 to Gainesville and started trouble there.
Good luck getting any businesses to return in downtown Atlanta and Buckhead.
I have to drive through to the other side of Atlanta today. I’ll be taking the scenic route to avoid going anywhere near downtown or Buckhead.

You. Are. His. Boss. The police department is under your control. What have you done to stop the abuse of black citizens (or any citizens) at the hands of dirty cops?
And there is no excuse for kneeling on the man for over 10 minutes until he dies. Same for Floyd. Both men had ceased struggling long before that but the police kept the pressure on their bodies until they died.
How that is not at a minimum considered excessive use of force is beyond me. Police and police leadership need to be held accountable for the kind of training and hiring being done in addition to local politicians who refuse to prosecute bad police behavior.
Exactly. At the very least, the legal process need to play out. Politicians are covering their asses though to keep from dealing with the blowback of their decisions over the years that led to an ill-trained police, overly aggressive police force.
