sometimes I wonder if the exact opposite should be true. 1/3rd of the country, the republicans, just all collectively stop voting, stop paying their taxes, grab guns, and the second the law moves against 1% of them, the rest move against the prisons, police stations, town halls, tax offices, and courts.
It's wishful thinking though. Too many people have too much to lose.
The issue isn't if it happened or not. It happened. The issue is that if you dare say the number isn't six million, you'll get blacklisted, harassed, lose your job, and in some parts of the world be arrested.
I think we can all agree people died. A lot of people. Too many people (which is 1+), but as such as it happened, not all of it happened as is told. Some has been made up, some embellished, and some lost to history and never told at all.
Keep in mind the skin into lampshades, soap, steam rooms, electrocution rooms, and a dozen other horrors have all been debunked. The death toll has dropped from 4 million to 1.5, to 1.2 at Auschwitz. Those numbers are wilder and more fluctuating than Biden's votes.
What we can all agree on is fuck the nazis, fuck the way they subjected jews, gays, poles, french, ukranians, belgians, dutch, russians, slavs, gypsies, british, homosexuals, the mentally and physically handicapped, the danes, the norwegians, the czechs, the intelligensia, unionists, and more to horrific experiences, torture, disenfranchisement, and death.
But likewise, fuck America at the time which was deeply segregational, the UK with its colonial barbarity and treatment of India, the Russians for their gulags and mass genocides, the Japanese for their barbarism in mainland asia. History is filled with sin, and we should tell ourselves never again.
That's why I'm thankful for Donald J Trump. He supports Israel, moved the embassy, but at the same time isnt willing to throw away lives in costly, needless wars. He wants to help the middle east, and korea.
