It seems anyone 65+ is stuck on old gop stigma. I went over every major gop/Trump policy position vs Dem with my 90yo mom and 88yo aunt. They came down on Trump positions nearly unanimously but both voted for Biden because “we’re democrats”.

The next guy down my lane is a security consultant and also ~had~ a karate school. The once thriving school is done and not coming back. He lost 50% of his income, has had to voluntarily repo his cars, and had to take on massive debt to cover back rent and taxes.

My daughter is a speech pathologist at an Arizona district. The teach all hate her because she almost doubles their salaries straight out of grad school, and she’s screaming from the treetops that kids are getting hurt doing off-site (not)learning.
My county went 80+ percent for President Trump. There isn’t a better place in the world for your car to break down, or some other unfortunate situation to happen. When I lived in deep blue Allegheny County I’d see people broken down with nobody stopping to help all the time. Not here where people are decent. Within 5 minutes there’s a half dozen deplorables stopped to help out. It really is bizarre, how the media denigrates rural communities, when they know absolutely nothing about them.
