John Kerry said we have 9 years left.... now where have I heard that one before???
You probably don’t hate men in general. Women who hate trump, hate men, mainly manly men who do man things.
Ted Cruz apologized. Lauren Boebert told them “so what ?”
One of these is a loser, the other a fighter.
I find that so sad for the sake of their own souls. I’m a huge trump supporter. Been to 3 rallies, have multiple hats, all my wardrobe is trump related I check thedonald at minimum twice a day. But ever since Trump left office I’ve continued on with my life. I still keep up with politics daily, but I’m not watching Trumps every move, I’m not twiddling my thumbs next to my phone waiting for his next statement. And I’m absolutely not obsessed with Biden’s every move. Can you imagine living the way they live. They “won” and they are still miserable as ever.
Giving us a whopping 60 generators 6 days into this fucktastrophe
The moment every news cycle starting repeating around the clock that this had nothing to do with green energy, I knew it had everything to do with green energy. These are the same people who told us Joe Biden is the most populate President of all time, Covid-19 will kill us all and that HCQ is the most dangerous drug on the planet.
Oh a basement! Why haven’t Texans thought of that? Thanks northerner but there several reasons why Texans don’t have basements. Our landscape consists of bedrock and or clay soil that swells and shrinks with the temperamental climate.
Sheesh. As a parent I’d give them a spoonful. Looking at our ancestry Id have to venture a guess we are somewhere near 2250% white. We immigrated to this nation legally after the civil war. Built farms, worked for the railroad, fought the spanish-American war. Settled modern day Oklahoma City during the sooner days. Kept your asses safe in WW1 and the Korean War. Built ranches, worked in hospitals and raised several fire fighters who saved multiple people’s for decades. I ain’t sorry for being white.
Texas only “trends” blue in the 4 major city hubs “dallas, Houston, Austin and San Antonio” and also the southern border which wasn’t as strong a blue as in the past this past election cycle. Houston had fraud issues, tarrant county (Dallas area) went blue for the first time this election under incredible suspicious circumstances that dems don’t feel the need to investigate. The headlines say trending blue , so that when their is voter fraud you don’t question it

Tin foil hat theory: ERCOT was designed to fail so people would be chomping at the bit to get federal involvement in the Texas energy grid.
THANK YOU!
I’m so sick and tired of getting shit on about how we are handling this winter storm. Us red blooded Texans are doing just fine thank you. The jack asses making our energy decisions are the idiots and we are dealing with their crap decisions.
Us rural folk are making due just fine. We are well prepped, distributing firewood, stocked up on food, taking care of our farm animals and taking care of our neighbors. Thank you for your concern. But I think we have every right to be mad that there was much advance knowledge of this winter storm and yet our energy companies and management were ill prepared. Our water utilities also were ill prepared. We regular folk were prepared and we pay good money for utilities so that they in turn are prepared to meet our needs. That’s the frustration here. Most of us don’t want the green energy but here we are. Green energy which supplies 23 % or more of our grid power is at a stand still and natural gas, coal, nuclear had to make up the difference which was an impossibility. Our infrastructure has not been updated or winterized, this is a big issue we have a right to mad at as well.
And one in Germany...
Texan here. It is baffling at how the “rolling outages” are occurring. Some streets have power turned on and off in 1/2 hr increments. Some 5 hr increments. Some houses haven’t had powers in over 4 days. Some houses have never once lost power. And no one can seem to clearly answer why. Our energy distribution is ran by some privatized company called ERGOT. This council have people on it who don’t even live in Texas. One is from Germany. They are determining how much power goes where and what gets turned off. Obviously they are doing a terrible management job. Which has the entire state furious (understandably) this will lead to the argument to put our electricity into the hands of the federal government (Biden’s territory)
It’s not regular citizens handling of the situation poorly. It’s top management of our energy sectors failing at every turn. Regular citizens in my town are busy delivering firewood to the elderly, opening their church’s, delivery warm meals, baby formula etc. we have farmers trying to keep calves from dying as their tractors and heat lamps fail. Our water companies are freezing and people are without water. Pipes are freezing because the water pressure is gone, and the rolling outages can’t warm the houses. I would give higher ups a pass had this been a nuclear disaster or a tornado, but this is just freezing temperatures and snow for 6 days and the entires states infrastructure has failed in the most energy independent state. People have a right to be very very angry.
But he died hours later at his office. Wouldn’t anafylactic shock occur within minutes of exposure?
There’s a reason trump supporters are now be labeled as “domestic terrorists”
Also to add to that, I’ve got family who have cows and if they calve in the night the calf is dead by the time they find it. Their tractors won’t start up in these freezing temps, ponds are frozen over. The heat lamps are unreliable because of the rolling outages. It’s just a very hectic situation all around. With no relief until this Saturday.
Exactly! Luckily my family was well prepared because we just know how to prep for this sort of thing. Lots of firewood, had bottled water stored up, chicken farm eggs etc. but the biggest issue has been all the utilities failing. Rolling outages, or just complete black outs for others. Then yesterday the towns water electric substation froze over so we were all without water. Now it’s a boil order. How are people going to boil water without power? Now people are starting to run out of firewood. It’s supposed to snow again tonight and the temps staying freezing until Saturday. When it does warm up everyone’s homes will flood because of all the frozen pipes. It doesn’t matter if you you let your pipes drip if you don’t have power to your home and it’s been single digits for over almost 5 days now. Some local churches are finally opening up to the community. Honestly I’m disappointed in how long that took them. I’m sure it’s “Covid” related. Better to let community to freeze to death then get exposed to Covid I suppose...
Our towns water companies electric substation shut down because of the freeze so now the town has been without water and rolling power outages. Which seem to roll for some and have been complete outages for others. This has been catastrophic at every level. And everyone has a right to be furious.
This is a very good point. I don’t watch the news but if they didn’t bring up the fact that 23% of our energy (wind turbines) is frozen and locked up then they are definitely purposely hiding information from the public which means it’s more than likely the biggest aspect of the energy crisis right now.
I hope they all freeze and topple over. Fingers crossed.
