Sure, they are nice people and mean well - but the scariest part of all of this is that typically normal left-leaning people have become absolutely unhinged! They are filled with hatred, are irrational, and if even slightly defer from their viewpoint or try to give a counter argument (even theoretical), they straight up LOSE THEIR shit.
I’ve seen it in my immediate family, but I had a phone call with a TDS friend and noticed some things. First, the MSM has brainwashed lefties into being CONVINCED that Trump will win - even when their skewed polls show Biden ahead?? The fear that has been contrived is palpable. And second, My TDS friend is convinced Trump rapes women and Children, is a racist, hates gay people and has literally killed people (mainly quoting the COVID deaths).
Make No mistake, these lefty people you know are easily manipulated, brainwashed, and now the MSM knows they have enough power to control them by the strings...
I kinda think that the media is purposely choosing these cases with sketchy facts and bolstering an innocent narrative with knowledge that the debatable truth will be revealed

I get that lefties don’t like Trump, he can be crass and “unpresidential;” but the media has had to really drum up the irrational hatred and fear of a fascist/Nazi despotic demagogue dictator to ensure that the masses live in enough fear to not question their motives.
I am surrounded by TDS and try to reason with people that how can they think both that Trump is an idiotic, Insecure and petty moron but also somehow so powerful that he is the cause of all the rape, sexism, pestilence, racisms, and homophobia in the world?
And the media glee about reporting the 200,000 deaths (they’ve been salivating all week as the number approached)...it’s just not how normal human beings react
I was freaked out at first and scared of the virus (NYC pede), but when opinionated pundits and health professionals (I follow MDs on Twitter) where shitting all over HCQ and gleeful when super poorly and biased studies showed it didn’t work...I became skeptical. And as a prescriber myself, the downright madness of a zpack or HCQ killing you and supposedly educated MDs agreeing with this...even more skeptical.
Then the push for Remsdivir just seemed like Gilead had too much Unused and failed antiviral stockpiled From the non-pandemic Ebola outbreak Just seemed like a suspicious cash grab..and maybe it would line Fauci pocket or appease people who lobbied him.
The virus is real, the media response has been unreliable unfortunately
