Military has been headed this way for awhile, my cycle was the last one before they added the 'stress level cards,' they got rid of kp and further restricted how drill sergeants were able to interact with soldiers (corporal punishment/verbal abuse). The world has gone soft and it's a damn shame.

Finally they stripped away the right to vote from non-citizens and enshrined, service guarantees citizenship. Serve your country and you can vote on it's destiny, makes perfect sense to me.
