Thank you to all of our mods for being our main line of defense against incessant leftist incursion and demoralization effort. You guys have to endure a lot of mental anguish to save the rest of us from the same. Sure some people might just see it as "they just click a button and think they're important," but here, it really means a lot more than that. It means you're giving a lot of yourself, freely, to stand alongside your brothers and sisters. You help us to have a bit of hope in the middle of all of this insanity that surrounds us.

You're not primarily upset at him right now, you're upset at the shit that's going on. After and in addition to all the shit that's going on, you're upset at him for not supporting you when you're hurting, like a real fucking man should.
This lack of empathy and compassion has existed in him from the beginning. But him displaying it when you really needed him the most has fractured an idealized idea or image you had of him in your mind.
I don't mean to downplay his betrayal or lack of compassion. I'm just suggesting to take each of those wounds separately, they came from separate sources. If he's at least half of a man, he'll be willing to compromise; he'll try to meet you halfway somewhere. If he's not willing to do that much, then explain to him that you're leaving him so he can be with his only true love, his creepy little liberal cult.
I'm sorry about what's happened to you, and all of us right now. We're all hurting. I'm also sorry that you've found out that the empathy in your relationship may have only been flowing one way: from you. I've been there, too.

Sure, If people are unable to think for themselves and solely follow what someone else says, that is control. Which is also why I pointed out that I even like if someone disagrees with me. It usually indicates independent thought.
Since this is just one post and not me saturating 3/4 of the feed with copies of this same post from diff sources, in my opinion, I don't see it as control. I just see it as me griping about an issue.
