Let me make this an absolute fact: The goal is world peace. That must be our prime responsibility. We are the leader of the free world whether we want to be or not, and therefore we are the only ones who can preserve the peace - and to do that we must have strength. Meeting this mission - this responsibility for preserving the peace, which I believe is a responsibility peculiar to our country, that we cannot shirk our responsibility as the leader of the free world because we're the only one who can do it, and therefore the burden of maintaining the peace falls on us, and to maintain that peace, requires strength. America has never gotten in a war because we were too strong. I've always believed that this land was set aside in an uncommon way, that a divine plan placed this great continent between the oceans to be found by people from every corner of the earth, who had a special love of faith, freedom, and peace. Let us reaffirm America's destiny of goodness and goodwill - let us work for peace. And as we do, let us remember the lines of the famous old hymn: "Oh God of Love, Oh King of Peace Make wars throughout the world to cease." There's some who've forgotten why we have a military. It's not to promote war, It's to be prepared for peace. There's a sign over the entrance to Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington State - that sign says it all -
"Peace is our Profession."
We know only too well that war comes not when the forces of Freedom are strong, it is when they are weak that tyrants are tempted. Of all the objectives we seek: First, and foremost, is the establishment of lasting world peace. But let our friends and those who may wish us ill take note: The United States has an obligation to its citizens, and to the people of the world, never to let those who would destroy freedom dictate the future course of life on this planet. There are no words to express the extraordinary strength and character of this breed of people we call "American". They're concerned, yes, they're not freightened. They're disturbed, but not dismayed. They are the kind of men and women Tom Paine had in mind, when he wrote during the darkest days of the American Revolution: "We have it in our power to begin the world over again." Ladies and Gentlemen of our Armed Forces, on behalf of a grateful Commander-in-Chief, I salute you.
I don’t want to get any messages saying, “I am holding my position.” We are not holding a Goddamned thing. Let the LEFTISTS do that. We are advancing constantly and we are not interested in holding onto anything, except the enemy’s balls. We are going to twist his balls and kick the living shit out of him all of the time. Our basic plan of operation is to advance and to keep on advancing regardless of whether we have to go over, under, or through the enemy.
Well, I know my ancestry back to Salem, MA in the early 1600s, but that family does not constitute a nation, just my "kindred". Nationalism isn't about picking a name out of some family tree and assigning them the absolute patriarch. Kin group is just the founding structure. A national identity comes from common language, geography, culture, history, etc. Not just one progenitor particular person. The founding stock of America were descended from a few thousand early settlers, most of whom were of English stock. America is a Western European, Anglo-germanic, Protestant people from its founding.
furthermore, If I had to pick a group from which I identify, and by extension America's basis for national identity, that would be broadly Western european, anglo-germanic, Protestantism, and would consider the founding stock of settlers to constitute a common ancestry to most americans.
It's somewhat the democrat policies vote plantation effect, being made to feel useless and dumb. But that really only accounts for the phenomenon since the post civil rights entitlement binge (before that most blacks voted republican). Blacks were doing much better as a group from the time of emancipation until the mid 60's.
The other much larger factor is roughly 5000 years of r-type reproduction strategy and population isolation in sub-Saharan Africa. Food abundance led to prolonged (even up to the modern time) hunter-gathering behavior. Lots of kids, low/no need for technological innovation, undeveloped religious and cultural institutions, low complexity tribal societies, low drivers for developing complex societies based on cooperation, law, philosophy etc. Selection pressure for physical ability, and low intelligence (average IQ of Sub-Saharan Africa is low/mid 70s).
When removed from these factors, Blacks have done very well in western societies compared to contemporaries in Africa. Western influenced selection pressures have measurably improved IQ to the mid 80's, but 5000 years of this reproductive strategy is difficult to overcome, especially due to continued high in-group preference among black populations.
Race (large family group) is not a social construct, it's biology. It takes generations (usually about 3-4) to begin to meaningfully overcome this. Time is needed. Also, practicing removing/culling low ability members from a family group is needed. Western societies vigorously executed criminals, ostracized deviants, highly emphasized monogamy, shunned promiscuity, invalidated bastards, emphasized education, tradecraft, and generally gave a shit about their kids for roughly 2500 years due to the hard conditions that drove toward toward high k-type reproductive strategy in the northern climate agrarian societies.
