I’d wager to say that we’re in this situation because there was a landslide vote for Trump. Any less of a turn out would have been an easier hill to climb for the dems. The gap for too large for a sneaky steal. They had to go all-in and get sloppy.

If there was a blue wave and record number of votes for Biden, why wouldn't that be reflected in the congress elections? Am I off base or what? Maybe it's all a matter of individual locations of the seats? I think 2 state legislatures flipped from Dem to Rep control also, correct. None of this makes sense for a theoretical Biden win.
