Yes to both. They do produce antibodies, but only to the spike protein. I have two relatives who were vaccinated and had their antibodies checked and they have them. Research says they wane at much greater speed, though

I work I 4 community hospitals. All on diversion as well. Covid numbers are at the highest they have ever been, though. Staffing is a portion of the problem, as well.
