Saying "you're telling me that YOU know what Jesus was saying?" isn't an answer. Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying as far as this is concerned. Now it's your turn to provide a counter-argument as to why I'm wrong.
Similarly, "I'm so sick of people like you" and "Your saying things like 'it's a supplement' de-prioritizes prayer" aren't refutations of anything, they're merely you saying you dislike my position and its implications.
Let's really dial in on the key point here. You claim that prayer is the most powerful way to bring about societal change. Yet Islam, which prays to a false god, absolutely walloped Christianity and took the entire Middle East and North Africa from us. Similarly, atheism, which has no prayers at all, has taken Europe from us.
Now this is all despite constant prayer from our side. If your position is true, how would this be possible?
The true answer is that war and societal pressures are the best way to bring change. Israel didn't simply pray to receive the Promised Land and it was given to them, Joshua had to conquer it in war.
What Jesus is saying there is that making a prayer longer doesn't increase its quality. Thinking your prayer is more likely to be effective because you made it longer is explicitly what Christ is saying isn't the case there.
Mark 9:29 is about exorcising a specific class of demons. He even specifies that it's just that specific kind of demon and not all of them, where on earth are you getting that it applies to every single issue humanity will ever encounter?
And again, if what you're proposing works, why is atheism winning out over Christianity in our culture despite constant prayer from our side but their disbelief in prayer?
If you look at studies on prayer, it brings some benefit but it isn't as powerful as you think it is. It's like a diet: prayer is the supplement pill you take in the morning for a bit of a boost, like fish oil or creatine. It is not a replacement for your actual meals.
Doesn't expecting an all-day prayer marathon to be the way to go contradict Matthew 6:7, which says "When you pray, do not babble on like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words"?
Prayer does have some effect but it's a supplement, not a main course. Remember that Christianity is losing the culture to atheism despite our constant praying and their total disbelief in prayer.
In the end, the only answer is that yes, guns do change things and if we ever want to save the nation, it will take a leader who knows that.
I'll never forget it. The day he won felt like ascending to a new plane of existence, and I stayed up there for four years. It's been painful to crash back down these past couple of weeks, but it's worth it to have had those four glorious years.
and you're not fucking ready for that, you prissy little bitch
I find it odd that everyone always says things like this to each other on this forum. In wars from the bronze age to Vietnam they've drafted normal young men and they've handled war alright for the most part. After some basic training most people on this forum would do fine.
People forget that even after the election loss, everyone on this board was completely confident. We knew Trump had expected it and were confident in what he had said about never allowing them to take the nation.
But then he authorized the GSA to begin making transition preparations, and the "dooming" began. Because that was the first thing that made absolutely no sense if the plan was to never allow Biden to take power and to fight to the flames for the nation. So they realized he had no such plan.
Since then it was "dooming" until the Supreme Court case, when everyone became confident again. He did have a plan after all! His three Supreme Court nominees. How foolish we'd been, of course he'd had this in the bad through them all along. But when that failed hard, another colossal wave of dooming came since all that had been seen to far were failed legal attempts that accomplished nothing. They realized he had no plan.
But then Trump announced plans for the 6th, and confidence went sky-high again. His legal options failing, Trump was finally going to enact his plan to save the nation. Of course he was. He always talked about how he'd fight. Now he was really going to do it and he wanted us there to be part of it. How foolish we'd been to doubt him.
But we all know how that went.
"Doomers" emerged at each stage that it became clear that Trump didn't actually have a solid plan for victory, and went away each time it seemed like he might. At each stage their earlier suspicions kept being vindicated.
when he put his own life, that of his families, and his business on the line
Putting your life on the line means...putting your life on the line. As President, Trump has 24/7 protection from the most elite bodyguards in the world, and he will for life as an ex-president. Putting his life on the line would mean literally fighting the usurpers. Multiple people died for him on the 6th. He doesn't have the guts to risk what they did for the nation.
He got to live every boy's dream of being a President but he wasn't willing to take on the man's duties that come with the role. Not one single bullet fired on his command to stop Communists from stealing an election.
There is shit going on doomfag.
There isn't. He himself has said that it's over.
In four days when Biden is sworn in as President and Trump does nothing, will you see?
Honest question: did you not get a chance to listen to his concession speech on the 7th where he accepted that a new administration was coming?
In four days you'll see him let Biden right into the White House.
If by "Trump doesn't give up" you mean "Trump still wants to be on TV" then you're right. If by "Trump doesn't give up" you mean "Trump won't let Communists steal the nation without a single shot being fired" then you're wrong.
What did he give? He got the supreme honor and the ultimate dream of being President. Giving everything would mean literally fighting to the death for the nation when it is under threat. That is his duty.
When the time came to truly start taking risks and making sacrifices, he wimped out. He should have been gathering forces for literal battle, but instead he mainly spent his time on Twitter practically begged everyone to please remember him as the one responsible for the vaccine. It's pathetic.
There are larger things at work that demanded this be the way it will apparently be.
Sadly there aren't. It's all just the result of elevating the constitution above the good of the nation. In the end, we lost because too many on our side worship that thing and care what a bunch of dead men from the 1700's would want.
Hopefully this at least shows our side that democracy has failed, the constitution has failed, and that we need to move past 1700's political philosophy.

This is, by far, the dumbest thing on this forum has ever gotten on. According to the conspiracy crowd on here, at least a quarter of the accounts are government employees all being paid to mass post on the Trump forum. Braindead lunacy that explains why every word from Lin Wood and the rest of the grifter crew got posted and upvoted for months.
Honestly...it was clear what was going to happen ever since he allowed the GSA to begin the transition. That's when the dooming began, and for good reason.
We all hoped at times after that, but in the end the hope was in vain.
Don't worry! The election may have been usurped by Communists bent on destroying the entire nation and expelling Conservatives from every sphere of life, but soon he's launching TrumpTV™ where he has some stern words for those evildoers!
Or maybe he'll run in 2024! They may have gotten him last time when he controlled the government, but give it four years and he'll get those rascals this time!
Now you're demanding that I explain War Inc.'s Bullshit???
I'm asking you look at an obviously illogical conspiracy theory. I suspect it's far from the only one you hold to.
What exactly leads you to believe that the US government was behind the 1969 coup in Libya? Maybe if we take a look at that we can start working on your deeply flawed epistemic standards.
There is no power derived from aimlessly milling about a building
The same could have been said about Libyan forces taking the palace. There could have been power derived from such an act if Trump had seized the opportunity, and especially if he had been making plans to seize such an opportunity. As it turned out, his plan was doomed lawsuit after doomed lawsuit and then to surrender to a usurper without a fight.
and the president had ALL of the presidential power on January 6th
The point was for him to still have it on the 21st
If only Trump had the influence and popular support to command masses of armed followers. But let's face it - it's not like anyone was gonna storm a building for the guy
